EMPOWERING OUR PARK GUIDES: ENHANCING VISITOR SAFETY & EXPERIENCE AT LAMBIR HILLS NATIONAL PARK

​We are proud to mark the successful conclusion of the Park Guide Training: Park Product Course for Lambir Hills National Park, held from 9–13 October 2026.
​A total of 14 licensed park guides from across the region—including seasoned guides from Mulu and Miri, alongside freshly graduated guides from Niah National Park—gathered to deepen their knowledge of Lambir's rich biodiversity and unique terrain.

​Participants completed comprehensive modules on:
​Introduction & Geology of Lambir Hills
- ​Forest Vegetation & Flora
​Birds, Mammals, Insects, & Herpetofauna (reptiles & amphibians).
- Safe Trail Navigation & Incident Prevention

During the course, guides also explored the potential of guided night walks as an upcoming eco-tourism experience—run under strict safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).
