Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC), led by Deputy General Manager (Management) Japanie Bujang, took part in a programme in Beijing, China from 23 to 26 March 2026 in support of the Borneo Biodiversity Photography Exhibition in the AI Era, organised by Bruce Wildlife Nature and Adventure Sdn Bhd.
The exhibition featured Bruce’s photographs taken in Sarawak’s national parks and nature reserves. These photos showed the rich biodiversity of Sarawak to an international audience. The programme also helped strengthen international engagement and promote Sarawak as a preferred ecotourism destination in this region.
The exhibition also showed how powerful photos can be in helping people understand and appreciate nature. By showing Sarawak’s forests, wildlife, and conservation value through strong and beautiful images, the programme helped raise awareness about the importance of protecting our natural heritage.
At the same time, the programme increased SFC’s international visibility, strengthened engagement with relevant institutions, and created new opportunities to promote Sarawak’s national parks through better and more effective communication.
This reflects SFC’s continued commitment to strengthening its international presence, supporting conservation-based ecotourism, and encouraging greater appreciation of Sarawak’s natural heritage on the international stage.
